Wasatch Mountain Vizslas

This is Szari, (pronounced Zar ee). It is a Hungarian name derived from the Irish name Sara meaning Princess. From the moment she was born, her breeder called her the Pink Princess as she was the first of six born and she was beautiful, even at birth. During her first 9 weeks, Szari tested her breeder everyday by being the first and sometimes the only one to do things, such as climb out of the ex-pen enclosure. It got to the point Kit (her breeder) had to place objects on the corners of the ex-pen because Szari would climb out just to be with her. The objects didn't stop her though. Several times Kit said she would walk into the living room where the pups were to find Szari sitting atop the objects waiting for her to come get her down. She also acted like a Princess at meal times. When Kit would bring their meal they would each sit and wait for her to place it in the enclosure. Once it was set on the floor each would dig in. Then Szari would back out, sit and wait for the frenzy to end, then get hers. Once we got her home, she tried that, but soon found if she didn't dig in, Budha would!

Szari & Budha have become fast friends. She follows him around everywhere, does everything he does, plays the most with him. She likes Bear a lot to, but has found he is not as tolerant as Budha to her puppy antics. And Saigie will not put up with any of it, so they both just stay away from each other.

Szari is showing so much potiental and it is exciting to watch her everyday. Be sure to check back to watch her grow and after the first of the year to see what she puts her mind to accomplish. We have great visions of her in the field and the ring.

Szari completed her JH title at 7 months old, completed her show Championship at 1 year 2 weeks old with a 4 & 5 point major. At 13 months she competed and earned her NAVHDA NA Prize III title. Earned her UKC Championship in 4 shows and is well on her way to her Grand Championship title. In 2008 Szari was #3 Vizsla in the UKC.

We are currently working on tracking and agility with this little spit fire. She is the one who thinks she can do it all, just give her a chance. Also her nickname is "little Miss Budinski", it also fits her to a tee! If we look at someone else, or have the nerve to pet someone else, she has to come over and wiggle her way between you and the one you are petting to get her pets and also to give kisses. She is one of the most kissiest (if that is a word) dogs I have ever met.
