Bizzy, Mz. Biz, Bizzy B, Bizzy Girl, Mz. Attitude, is named so for a reason! She IS one BUSY girl! Actually, we didn’t really name her, it just happened, as most things do. She was our Lemon (yellow) collar girl in our Stryder/Szari litter. I researched for a long time before picking Stryder – Can/Am CH Everwhen A.T.Stryder bred and co-owned by Judy Richey of Everwhen Vizslas. Stryder had the type of pedigree I was looking for to combine with Szari’s. Not only did he have wonderful structure, but also had a lot of hunting, field and other performance titles behind him. When I finally met him in person, it was settled! He also had that all important temperament I was looking for. He leaped out of his truck and into my arms as if I was his long lost friend! Very sweet, loving and comical at the same time.
When the pups were born, my friend and “whelper helper”, Sheryl of Salti’s Vizslas and I both said this last pup born, little lemon girl would be the one to watch. As time went on, you couldn’t help but watch the little lemon girl, as she made her presence known to all! She has that “look at me” and “I can do that” attitude.
Calling her Lemon just did not suit her, so I started calling her Lems. That too, just did not fit, til one day she was running circles around everyone, I yelled out what a busy girl she was. From that day, I have called her Bizzy and it has just stuck.
Since deciding to take a pup from the Budha/Brenna litter, we felt we wouldn’t be able to keep a pup from Szari’s litter. As the pups were placed with families, there just was not that “perfect” home for Lemon, aka Bizzy. She would need an experienced home, an active home. During all the interviews and placements, I guess subconsciously I felt she was already home.
Having two pups in the house is A LOT of work and NOT recommended for anyone! Doesn’t matter how experienced or knowledgeable you are.
